As you all know I decided to chase my dreams late in life. Kyle knew he wanted to be in law enforcement and he pursued that career early in life. Me on the other hand, not so much. Spring 2017 I walked into the Holly Springs Police Department and took a leap of faith and applied for a job that I had only dreamed about. I wanted to be a police officer and we all know when I put my mind to something, there is no stopping me. I was hired and started at the PD fresh out of the academy in January of 2018.
I was extremely focused and not looking for any distractions because I had a lot of time to make up for. I was 27 and ready to rock and roll.
One night in September that year I was invited out with the Drakes ( I was on the same rotation as Andrew and Kyle but on day shift). I learned Kyle was going to come with us because he doesn't get out much (he hates leaving Pickens County and being around city folk). Anna had told me her and Andrew had tried to play match maker and things just never worked out for Kyle. If you know me, then you know I am always down to go out for a good time. The night started at a bar somewhere that Andrew swore was this great bar... well it was a bust haha and we ended up going to Mazey's in Kennesaw. We had a blast! The four of us laughed and sang 90s hits most of the night.
Fast forward to the LSU/ Georgia game October 13th. Kyle invited the same group over to his bachelor pad to watch the football game. I honestly didn't think he was ready for my passionate love of Georgia Football but thankfully the Drakes also love those Dawgs. I couldn't tell you who won the game but from that day on I knew Kyle was the one for me. He puts up with my obsessive love for Georgia Football and I put up with his three months of deer season. The rest is history.

Engaged March 13th 2021.
Getting Married on October 22, 2022.
