We met the old fashioned way: at a bar! (never tried their old fashioned though) On a fateful night in 2019, Akash was out with his friends at a bar in Chicago called Lotties. He had just moved to Chicago, but only for a year. He invited his cousin to meet up with him and his friends, and she asked if she could bring her friend Naba from grad school. They instantly connected and talked for hours, and it was well past midnight before they even knew it. For far too long afterwards, they pretended like they were only friends and nothing more (spoiler alert: they weren't very good at it!) Soon, a year was up and Akash was moving. Akash and Naba realized they would miss each other too much to just be friends and so they decided to be more... and the rest is history!
