A shared smile turned into a conversation, though he was clearly a little nervous. Our first date was at Cate Street Seafood Station in Downtown Hammond. If you ever go there, you’ll find our “date dollar” on the wall by the table near the restrooms. One date led to another, and before we knew it, we were spending all our time together. There was no rush, just a natural rhythm that felt right; we prayed for a love like this, and God gave us each other. The more we got to know each other, the deeper we fell in love, sharing dreams, plans, and little moments that became precious memories. In December of 2023, our love grew even stronger with the arrival of Makari, a beautiful reminder of everything we had already built together. From a simple meeting to a deep bond, our journey has been as real and rewarding as we’d always hoped love could be. Now, with Makari by our side, we look forward to all the years to come, filled with love and the family we’ve created.
