Our journey began on a September night around a bonfire, hosted by my sister and maid of honor, Shakira. I had no intentions to attend or stay at, however my mom was urging me to stop by, so I did. It was a gathering filled with warmth, laughter, and the flickering glow of flames, where friends came together to share stories and make memories. Little did I know that this night would be the start of something extraordinary. As I walked into my parents home, I noticed Ethan Bliss is sitting at the table, chatting comfortably with my family. He had known them for a long time, but this was the first time we truly connected. At this point Ethan decided to point out that I “the wrong sibling,” entering the house. However, he was incredibly wrong! What followed was an engaging conversation that flowed seamlessly. We bonded over our shared interests, particularly our love for beer and my travels abroad. I found it refreshing to talk about our future plans and spiritual goals, discovering how aligned we were on so many levels. It felt as if we had known each other forever. As our conversation came to a close, Ethan confidently asked for my number, and I eagerly handed it over. The moment I stepped out into my parent’s driveway, my phone buzzed with a text from him – a sweet reminder that he was just as excited to keep in touch. From that night by the bonfire, our connection blossomed, and we have been connected ever since. Each day has been filled with laughter, adventure, and a deepening love that makes us excited for the future.
