Baby David was born in Corona, California.

Baby Alaina was born in San Antonio, Texas.

David joined the U.S. Army and graduated from basic training. Then got sent to Ft Gordon, GA for training. After his training was completed, he received orders to Korea.

Meanwhile, I was away at college in Boone, NC with my buddies. I was having fun, but also missing my family.

I graduated from Appalachian State University and then moved back home to Fayetteville, NC in July.

After leaving Korea in 2018, he was sent to Ft Bragg, NC. He then got deployed to Bahrain 2019.

David was having the best time with his friends. He then got orders back to Ft Bragg, NC in June 2020.

We met at Saslow's Jewelers, where I was working. He was with his friend, Ryan, who was buying an engagement ring for his fiancé, McKayDee. He brought flowers to our first date, we went for tacos and hung out all night <3

He fell in love with our dog, Poe.

But, he also loved my cat, Marie just as much. My best good kitty. <3

Then, bad news arrived...David received orders to move to Japan. :( He had to report by Dec 20, 2020. We hated the idea of long distance but wanted to give it a shot. We were both convinced we were meant to be!

We saw each other here and there. He came home from Japan and I went to see him. We were long distance from December 20, 2020 - March 15, 2024

Our favorite thing to do is enjoy a nice meal or cook together! David says I'm a great cook and I say he's even better. Needless to say, we don't go hungry.

We have spent hours and hours facetiming, watching movies, tv, and hanging out virtually :) Thank God for modern day technology.

I traveled to California to finally meet his family.

I graduated Dental Hygiene school. Here's my best friend Kirstie and I at our Pinning Ceremony.

After graduation, I went to visit David in Tokyo. Japan was amazing!

It was the best week ever!

We got to spend our very first Christmas together--Actually in person

We're always down for a game night with Marcus and Brooke.

In Asheville for the weekend :)

Engagement day! We're finally ready to start our lives together. David moved to Texas in August 2024. I'll be joining him in October 2024.

We are so excited to finally be together. But, this is just the beginning...
