What is the dress code?
We will request you to follow a cocktail/semi-formal dress code, but we also want our guests to be comfortable and to feel free to wear something they already have! We'd ask you to stay away from jeans/athletic wear, and if you don't want to match the wedding party, avoid pink. We will be outdoors, weather permitting, so please dress appropriately!
Do you have a hotel block?
No, since this is a smaller wedding, it didn't seem to make sense to do a specific hotel block. If you're looking for recommendations of where to stay, please check out our "Travel" tab for hotels and B&Bs in the area! Of course, you are also welcome to find your own accommodations if you prefer, that's just a starting point!
What time should I arrive?
Please arrive any time between 4:00-4:25. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30, so you'll want to make sure you're in your seat by then!
Where do I park at the venue?
Our wedding will be at the Sugar Bush House, which has a separate entrance to the rest of Riveredge Nature Center. We will have a sign on the road indicating you're at the right driveway, and you can park in the parking lot to the right of the building. This address is the best one to put in your GPS: Sugarbush House, 4400 County Rd Y, Saukville, WI 53080
Do you have a registry?
While we certainly don't expect gifts, we are registered here (The Knot) as well as Target and Amazon, although they should all be visible via the "Registry" tab on this site! If you would prefer to give your gift in person at the wedding, we will also have a gift table set up there.
What will dinner be?
We will have a ton of food at our wedding! There will be charcuterie and soft pretzels available before the ceremony, along with a mimosa bar. For dinner, we will have barbecue brisket, broasted chicken, mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, green beans, rolls, and fruit. After dinner, there will be popcorn, and s'mores, in addition to soft and hard drinks, and a dessert bar.
