We met at the Cambridge Marriott, but did not start dating until Alan located Steph's number on LinkedIn. Fast forward to our engagement 7 years later.... After our friends’ destination wedding, we extended our stay in Aruba. At the end of the trip, we booked a dinner reservation through our concierge, and they booked at the wrong location. There was no reservation under our name when we arrived, but luckily the restaurant was able to accommodate us, and it was the perfect location on the beach. The server offered to take a photo of us, and Alan was very insistent on taking multiple photos. Alan got down on one knee and proposed during a perfect sunset! After the proposal, Steph was told that Alan had long stem roses and rose petals in the shape of a heart at the other restaurant. Come to find out, another couple on their anniversary got to enjoy these flowers and we laughed because this would only happen to us. We did go to find the flowers after dinner for picture purposes of course :)

We cannot wait to celebrate with our family and friends and get married!
