We met January 2024 through mutual friends! Sara Fuller(Jenna’s friend) and Meg Doyle(Alan’s friend) linked us together. They set us up on a blind date and we quickly loved spending time together. We’re so thankful for them! Alan moved from Ames to Council Bluffs for his job in April. Over the next year we dated long distance. There were lots of back and forth trips for us both and long distance helped us just grow closer together. We spent time going on trips together, hundreds of phone calls, spending countless hours on the road, plus lots of cuddles with our dog Reuben. Alan proposed on April 19th! He deployed late May and we are looking forward to being reunited again in the Spring. Jenna has been busy wedding planning and preparing to move to the Omaha area when Alan is back. God has been so good to us. We can't wait to get married and are excited to invite you to our day. Thank you all for being such a special presence in our lives.
