Our Wedding

Wanda and Alan first met in Miami in the late 1980s as part of a close-knit group of friends in their twenties. Those years were filled with happy hours, boating adventures, concerts, and plenty of laughter. Life eventually took them to different cities, but the memories—and the friendship—never quite faded.
In 2010, thanks to Facebook, their paths crossed again. Alan visited Wanda in Southern California, where they caught up over a memorable lunch at Downtown Disney. A couple of years later, Wanda traveled to Florida for Thanksgiving, where Alan was living at the time. Although Alan was scheduled to be out of town for the holiday, he offered to make a stop in Tallahassee to see her. Wanda happily agreed—and casually asked if he’d like to go to the FSU vs. UF game. When Alan said yes, she followed up with one more question: could he get the tickets?
What began as two old friends attending a football game quickly turned into something much more—a deep and unexpected connection. Soon after, Wanda invited Alan to California to ring in the New Year, and from that moment on, the rest truly became history.

We’re so glad you’re joining us for our Beach Bonfire Wedding Celebration! Below is the information for the day. LocationBrookhurst Berm Ramadas A &amp; D ScheduleAll day:We’ll be setting up early—please come enjoy a day at the beach with us. 5:00 PM:Celebration begins with appetizers, followed by dinner and cake. Sunset:Ceremony, then a bonfire with s’mores. Notes Even in Southern California, it can cool down a bit once the sun sets at the beach. You might want to bring a sweater or jacket so you stay comfortable as the evening goes on. ParkingBeach lot: $20/day. The lot may become crowded and temporarily close during the day but should reopen by 5:00 PM. Alternative:If the lot is closed or you prefer not to pay, there is plenty of street parking in our neighborhood (a 10–15 minute walk to the Ramadas from our house).Please do NOT park on Brookhurst St.—they ticket after 8:00 PM.
