Our Wedding

Our story begins in a way that’s pretty standard these days but not exactly what rom-coms are made of. We met through a dating app—because apparently, that's how millennials and Gen Zs find true love now. From the moment we met in person, the chemistry was undeniable (and thankfully, no one turned out to be a catfish). In July of 2022, we had our first date at Burning Barrel Brewing, where we bonded over beer and confirmed that neither of us was secretly a serial killer. What started as a casual meetup turned into an epic evening—one beer became dinner, dinner became hours of conversation, and before we knew it, we were planning our next date. Clearly, swiping right worked! From the get-go, being together felt so easy it was almost suspicious. Were we part of some secret social experiment? As we got to know each other, we discovered we had a lot in common: a shared passion for fitness, a love for traveling (especially when snacks are packed), and an appreciation for the great outdoors. With so many shared interests, it wasn’t long before we were spending more time together than apart—whether at the gym, planning trips, or debating the merits of IPAs over Blondes. Fast forward two-plus years, and our relationship had reached "this is it" territory. On a trip to Madrid, Spain, Evan decided it was time to seal the deal. In the essence of his Navy days, Evan went all out—orchestrating a proposal on a boat ride on the Great Pond in Retiro Park. Picture this: a boat ride, a romantic park, and Evan nervously fumbling for the ring while Ali wondered if he was about to drop it into the water. Thankfully, no aquatic disasters occurred, and when Evan asked the big question, Ali said, "YES!" Cue the applause from bystanders. Now, here we are, gearing up for the ultimate celebration of love, laughter, and Evan’s questionable dance moves. Our journey has been filled with adventures, jokes that only we find funny, and countless memories that we’re so excited to continue building. We can’t wait to celebrate with you, our favorite people, on our big day. Bring your best dance shoes, because "I do" is just the beginning of this party!
