Will there be an open bar during the cocktail hour and reception?
Absolutely, drinks are on us! However, the bar will not be available during dinner. Wine will be provided on each table.
What type of food will be provided at the reception?
The food will be BBQ style with alternatives for those who do not eat meat. There will also be dessert and a late night snack.
Do you have a wedding registry?
We do not need any items, however we are hoping to buy our first home soon and would really appreciate a monetary gift to achieve our goal.
A locked card box will be on the receiving table at our reception.
What is the attire for the ceremony and reception?
Formal.
For men: a suit and tie, with or without a jacket.
For women: any length dress. Please refrain from wearing any shade of white.
We want to see people dressed up!
Are there any colors in my attire I should stay away from?
Kindly do not wear any shade of white or off-white (white, ivory, cream, etc).

Is the wedding inside or outside?
The ceremony is outside, and the reception is inside the barn.
What is the back-up plan for inclement weather?
The ceremony will be held inside the barn should there be inclement weather.
How do I get to the barn?
Once you enter the conservation area, drive past the first parking lot. Continue around the curve in the road past the two houses on your left to the lower parking lot. You will see the large barn to the right once you cross the river. Turn right into the lower parking lot just after the barn.

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Kindly arrive at 3:30pm to allow time for seating.
Should I RSVP online or can I RSVP by mail?
Please only RSVP through the website.
Is there a shuttle to and from the venue to the hotel?
Yes! A shuttle has been arranged to and from the Holiday Inn & Suites Welland.
The shuttle will leave at 3:00pm from the hotel on June 1, 2024.
The shuttle will have two returns to the Holiday Inn & Suites Welland - leaving Ball's Falls Conservation Area at 10:30 p.m. and 12:15 a.m.
Are hotel rooms blocked off for guests to stay in?
Yes!
The room block is at the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Welland.

How do I know if I have a plus one?
As this is a small wedding, we have not provided any plus ones. The individuals invited to our wedding are the guests listed on your save-the-date and invitation you receive.
Can I bring my children?
We have chosen not to have children at our wedding. We look forward to celebrating with them in a child-appropriate manner after our wedding!
Can I take pictures during the ceremony and first dance?
We kindly ask that you do not to take photos during the ceremony or first dance. We would like our photography to be able to capture those moments undisturbed.
