Our Wedding

Alana and Nicholas officially met at Eastern Michigan University back in January 2018. Nick was part of a campus MMA club that met at the gym and Alana was starting her New Year's resolution. Alana stumbled upon a room she's never seen before at the gym and the coach invited her in to give the class a try. Willing to try new things, Alana joined the MMA club. Fast forward to the end of January 2018, Nicholas had his first big fight in a ring. Alana joined their teammates in cheering him on as he won! About a week or two later Nick asked Alana on their first date. And since then, they've been inseparable. One year later, they got their first apartment together. Within a few months, decided they needed a puppy to change things up a bit. And in popped Venna into their lives! September of 2022 they bought their first home together, and on 3/13/2023 Nick got down on one knee to solidify their forever together. Now lets celebrate the Future McGlones!!

What should I wear?

Colors are encouraged! The venue is indoor/outdoor and we want to embrace the beautiful grounds with some garden party vibes. LADIES, think luminous silks, floaty chiffons, or reach for joyful prints, romantic ruffles, and shimmering details for an elevated statement that will take you from day to night. As ceremony and cocktail hour will be outside in rocky to grassy areas, please make sure to steer clear of stiletto heels or pick up some heel stoppers! GENTS, come in your most dapper outfits. Don't be afraid from accessorizing with pops of color, floral, or a fun pattern. We'd love to see you in lighter colors! Light greys, blues, browns, pinks, yellows, greens. It may be the start of fall but it's not Halloween yet!

Who am I allowed to bring?

It will be written on your invitation and when you RSVP through the tab above all the invitees in your party. This is an adult only party. Think of it as a date night out, come enjoy your time kid free!

What is the schedule of the evening?

Our unplugged ceremony will begin at 4:30pm! Please try to arrive 15-30min before to allow time for parking and finding a seat.Cocktail hour will begin following the ceremony. Please help yourselves to our open bar and hors d'oeuvres.Entrances and dinner will begin by 6:30pm. Opening up the dance floor for the real party by 7:30pm!The night concludes at 11pm.

Are there accommedations nearby?

Yes! We have booked a block of rooms at the Courtyard by Marriott on Bondsteel Dr, Jackson, MI. This is about a 10 minute drive to/from the venue! You can use the link for the hotel on the travel tab above to book with our discounted price.

WHERE CAN I FIND YOUR REGISTRY?

We are registered with Amazon and Williams-Sonoma. You can find items from both lists on the Registry tab above. There are links that will take you directly to our registries with each site on that tab as well. Can find a registry item cheaper somewhere else? Perfect, we love a good deal! Just let us know to mark it as purchased. Places like Costco are our favorite, if we could've had a registry with Costco we would've!
