Alana, born and raised in the interior of Mato Grosso in the Amazonian region of Brazil, and Christopher, originating from a small village of only 180 inhabitants in northern Germany, had paths that seemed destined never to intersect, but fate had other plans.

Alana's journey led her to Wismar, where she enrolled in a master's program. Meanwhile, Christopher was completing his bachelor's degree and working in Lubeck. The unlikely encounter took place in February 2022 Wismar, in a first date in typical German style: a walk around the city. It was followed by a dinner at the Rialto restaurant and drinks at the Schlauch bar, iconic places from little Wismar.

In the following months, Christopher would frequently travel to Wismar to spend time together. Although they initially sought different things, the connection between them made it hard to put an end to their story. For six months, they continued to meet until, finally, in August 2022, Christopher declared his feelings and the relationship became oficial.

Around the same time, Alana moved to Hamburg for an internship, and Christopher spent most of his time there, further solidifying their relationship. They decided to officially live together by finding a new home, and moved on January 2023. The wedding proposal came during a trip to Italy in October 2023, and now, they embark on this new chapter, looking forward to build a family together.
