Brendan and Alanna met through a mutual friend in D.C. at a Penguins vs. Capitals game February 2015. Alanna's father being from Pittsburgh and Brendan also being from Pittsburgh led to an instant connection. Hockey wasn't the only thing these two had in common, they immediately hit it off, and have basically been together ever since. They still celebrate the night they met by going to a hockey game every February. After dating for a year and a half Brendan proposed August 30, 2016 at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego, CA while on vacation, and of course Alanna said yes! The two can not wait to see what else life has in store for them, and is thankful to all those who will witness our next chapter beginning.
