Are children invited?

Children are welcome at the ceremony, but the reception will be an adults-only event. If you need accommodations/exceptions for “babes in arms,” please let us know.

May I bring a guest?

Please only bring those noted in your RSVP unless discussed with the bride or groom.

How do I get from the ceremony to the reception?

See our "Transportation and Parking" page! Options include hopping on a school bus to get you there.

What do you mean you are "parading" from the ceremony to the reception?

We (the bride, groom, wedding party, and anyone else who is interested and able) plan to walk, dance, party, and parade our way from the church to Reading Terminal Market on foot. We look forward to soaking in the Center City vibes on wedding day. The parade route and more detailed plans will be posted prior to the event, but we promise you that it will be a good time.

How/when/where do I enter Reading Terminal Market for the reception?

Doors to the market will open promptly at 7:00pm. The event entrance is located at the corner of 12th Street and Filbert Street and positioned beneath the iconic Reading Terminal Market neon sign. This entrance will also be indicated by a sidewalk sign that reads: Private Event Entrance. All other doors to the market will remain locked for the evening.

Backpacks, briefcases, large duffel bags, and rolling luggage are not allowed in Reading Terminal Market.
