Our Wedding

Alanna &amp; Colin met in May of 2022 after Alanna had graduated from the University of Alabama &amp; moved home to Houston to start her career. The two immediately bonded over their love for sports &amp; importance of family, all while trying to get over the fact that one was an Aggie &amp; the other had just left Sweet Home Alabama. The early days of dating consisted of a lot of Astros games, pool days &amp; dinner dates which quickly turned into spending everyday together.

How Alanna & Colin Met

In August of 2022, Colin returned to College Station to finish his last year at Texas A&amp;M University &amp; Alanna started working full-time in Houston. Although this turned their new relationship into a long distance situation, the two made the most of it &amp; Alanna spent the majority of her weekends in "Colin Station" going to sporting events &amp; parties together.

Our First Year

After celebrating their first dating anniversary in June of 2023, Colin graduated from Texas A&amp;M University that August. After graduation he moved home to Houston &amp; started working full-time in the city. Alanna &amp; Colin focused on saving money for their future goals &amp; enjoyed living in the same city again.

Our Second Year

In July of 2024, just after celebrating their second dating anniversary the two moved into an apartment together in Houston &amp; continued working hard. By this point they knew they wanted to be together through thick &amp; thin. They based this on their love for one another, the relationships their families had made with each other &amp; the way all of their friends got along so well!

Our Third Year

On January 2nd, 2025 Colin proposed to Alanna on a family ski trip in Wolf Creek, Colorado. The proposal took place at the top of the mountain while it was just the two of them admiring the incredible view. After he proposed, they skied to the bottom of the mountain where they were greeted by both of their families with champagne &amp; tears of joy. It is definitely ranked as the best day of their lives thus far.

Alanna &amp; Colin took their first vacation to Cabo San Lucas in August of 2022 just before Colin returned to Texas A&amp;M University for his last year of college!

The Astros superfans got to experience being in the building to watch Yordan Alvarez &amp; the Stros win the World Series in November of 2022!

Alanna went with Colin on his last college spring break trip to New Orleans in March of 2023. The couple had a blast with Colin's friends from his Texas A&amp;M Men's organization, Aggie Gentleman of Integrity!

The couple spent their first dating anniversary in June of 2023 visiting wineries &amp; enjoying quality time with each other in Fredericksburg, also known as the Texas hill country!

Colin went to visit Alanna's aunt &amp; uncle in Palm Coast in August of 2023 to meet her godparents. They spent time going golfing &amp; relaxing at the beach.

Alanna &amp; Colin went to Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida after spending time in Palm Coast. Harry Potter world was definitely the highlight!

For Alanna's 24th birthday in November of 2023, the couple went to see Morgan Wallen's concert in Houston!

Alanna &amp; Colin went to Wolf Creek, Colorado with Alanna's family for a ski trip in January of 2024.

In March of 2024, the couple visited Cancun together where they went deep sea fishing, enjoyed amazing food &amp; spent lots of time on the beautiful beaches!

In June of 2024, Alanna &amp; Colin visited Orlando for Alanna's cousin's wedding where Colin got to meet a lot of Alanna's extended family from Canada for the first time!

Colin had a conference for work in Anaheim, California in September of 2024. Alanna met him in California that weekend after his conference was over &amp; the couple toured around, attended the Astros v Angels game &amp; visited Laguna Beach for a day!

Alanna &amp; Colin went to Dallas for the weekend in October of 2024 with some of their friends to visit Texas Live &amp; watch college football.

For Alanna's 25th birthday a huge group of Colin &amp; Alanna's friends met up in Nashville to celebrate all together! They had such a great time in music city with their best friends.

In January of 2025 Colin proposed to Alanna on a family ski trip in Wolf Creek, Colorado! It was the greatest day of their lives thus far.

For Colin's 25th birthday the couple went on another ski trip to stunning Alta, Utah in April of 2025. The snow conditions were amazing &amp; they had an unforgettable time!

Colin finally got to visit Alanna's home country of Canada in August of 2025. The couple had the most incredible time visiting Alanna's extended family members &amp; experiencing Canadian culture together!

How should I travel to & from the wedding ceremony?

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:30 PM at the Co-Cathedral of the Sacred Heart. We kindly ask guests to allow ample time for transportation, as the church is approximately one mile from the Marriott Marquis.

What time does the ceremony begin?

Attire: Black-Tie Encouraged We invite our guests to dress in formal evening wear. Ladies are encouraged to wear full-length gowns, and gentlemen may wear a tuxedo or a suit with a tie.

What should I wear?

Although we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults only event. We really appreciate your understanding and making arrangements ahead of time so that you can celebrate with us!

Are children invited to the wedding?

If you are staying at the Marriott Marquis Houston, or any other neighboring hotel, we highly encourage using Uber to travel to the Co-Cathedral of The Sacred Heart Catholic Church for the ceremony.

If you live in Houston &amp; plan on driving to our wedding, you may park in the the Archbishop Fiorenza plaza. There is space for about 140 cars. Additionally, guests can also park over at Cathedral Centre.
