Garrett and I met in 2018, the summer after my sophomore year of college. I came home to work at the job I had in high school. Most of my friends had moved away for college, so I was pretty bored. I ended up meeting some people from Miller and met Garrett through some mutual friends at a party. My friend (and cousin), Chelsea, told me I had to meet this guy named Garrett who was pretty cool. We ended up exchanging numbers and began talking. We were both in pretty dark places about to give up on love, so God definitely brought us together for a reason. After about a month of talking, he asked me to officially be his girlfriend on July 14th, 2018. Fast forward to a little over six years later and we’re finally tying the knot!
