There’s a theory called the Red String Theory, which suggests that two people are destined to meet, even if their paths cross unknowingly many times before the moment is right. This theory couldn’t be more fitting for the beginning of Alayna and Liam's story.

Their journey started in the summer of 2015, at a house party during their time at St. Anne's High School. They didn’t talk much after that night (their parents were probably relieved at the time, lol). They were just two young teens passing through each other’s lives, unaware of the countless future intersections waiting for them. Over the next three years, they saw each other frequently in the hallways of their school, but never truly connected.

After high school, Liam went on to St. Clair College, and a year later, Alayna followed. For the next five years, Alayna played on the soccer team, and eventually, she found herself playing alongside Liam’s younger sister, Keely. Alayna, Keely, and the rest of the St. Clair College soccer team spent countless early mornings at the gym, training for the season. At the same time, Liam worked at the college’s gym, often driving in with Keely. It was during these years that Alayna and Liam crossed paths again, but still, it wasn’t their time.

Then, one cold November evening, while Alayna was working at her nursing job, Liam reached out and asked her out on a date, and finally, the timing was perfect. From that moment on, they’ve been inseparable, their paths forever intertwined.

Liam picked Alayna up at her parents' house for their first date. Liam took Alayna to Colasanti's, then they walked around Holiday Beach, where Liam dropped his Oakley sunglasses in the marsh (smooth move). Liam and Alayna spent 6 hours together that day and just clicked. They both agreed that 6 hours never flew by so quickly.

Liam went on to propose to Alayna at Holiday Beach, where they shared their first date. Alayna's sister, Ayva, was such a big help in making this day so special for both Alayna and Liam.

Alayna and Liam are so happy to be sharing this next chapter of their life with all of their loved ones on their wedding day this October 3rd.
