Alayna and Wojtek's love story began at a mutual friend’s party during their freshman year of college. Wojtek wasn’t sure he wanted to go that night but decided to attend at the last minute. That’s where he saw Alayna again. He remembered hanging out with her their freshman year of high school but hadn't spoken to her since. Wojtek thought she looked just as beautiful, Alayna thought he looked just as tall. They talked the entire rest of the night. After that day, they started seeing each other more. First, it was going to the ice skating rink, then it was hiking at Coopers Rock. In December of that year, right before Alayna left for New York City, Wojtek asked her to be his girlfriend.

Their first real adventure took them to South Carolina, where they spent long hours at Folly Beach and a sunny afternoon at the bird sanctuary, where they watched owls glide between them and falcons fall from the sky. Many more adventures soon followed – from the shores of Lake Erie, where they camped under the stars and biked along the shore, to hiking Multnomah Falls in Oregon, watching from the top of a cliff as gallons of water plunged into the pools below. From wine tastings in the vineyards of Napa Valley to trekking through the flowering meadows of Dolly Sods on a three day backpacking trip, every adventure was special.

They were together all through college, growing and learning alongside each other, and by the time graduation came, they knew they wanted to continue their future together. A year after Wojtek’s graduation, they found a house and started making it theirs. They hung pictures, built furniture, made many dinners in the kitchen (Wojtek mainly made the dinners), and they filled it with memories. But the best addition to their home came in November last year—their new puppy Eevee, who quickly became the heart of their little family.

Their love grows in the simple, quiet moments—the mornings spent drinking coffee side by side, the evenings curled up on the couch watching movies or playing Mario Party, and the afternoons walking Eevee on the trail, having conversations about their future. They are so excited to start this new chapter of their lives and to continue sharing this amazing life together.
