Alayna and Jacob first met at a party during their senior year at Indiana University and quickly realized they were neighbors (shoutout 14th & Indiana). After talking all night, they fell in love in a matter of months. 


After graduation, they did two years of long distance, spending weekends together in Chicago, Philadelphia, Washington DC, Cleveland, Madison, Bloomington, New York, Baltimore, Austin, New Orleans, Moab, and Asheville.


In June 2021, Jacob moved to Chicago and became a dad to Alayna's cat, Charlie. Since then, they've loved exploring the city, trying new restaurants, traveling, and laughing together.


Jacob proposed at their apartment, with Charlie's assistance, and then surprised Alayna with an engagement party surrounded by their closest friends and family. They're excited for a future filled with dancing, coffee, walks around the neighborhood, and lots of laughter.
