Alec and Alyssa met in middle school when one of her good friends tried to set them up. Alec did not have a phone at the time so they never ended up talking but she was convinced that they would get married so much so that she planned the whole wedding (fyi the wedding that is planned is nothing like that wedding). A couple of years go by, and Alyssa needed a date to junior prom. Alec also happened to be looking for a date and was recommended Alyssa. Alec rushed to make a sign and asked at a mutual friends house, forgetting the sign was still wet with glitter glue. They went to prom together and at the end Alec asked Alyssa out. Alyssa proceeded to say no but he never gave up. They casually hung out throughout the summer and on July 31st, 2017 finally got the nerve back up to ask again. Alyssa agreed, annoyed it had taken that much longer to ask. They then dated the rest of high school and ultimately decided to go to the same college, SDSU. Five years and a total of three college degrees pass by loving each other through the good and the bad. Alec decides he should make the rest of their lives official and ask Alyssa to marry him six years from the date Alyssa said yes the first time, July 31st, 2023.
