Where did you meet?

When did you start dating?

When did you get engaged?

When's the wedding?

These are all typical questions that people ask a young couple in love. Well friends and family if you were looking for a sappy love story, this is not the place you will find one.

Although our two lovebirds did meet in high school, they are not high school sweethearts. Oh no! They actually got together a few years after graduating. It was in the trifle time of 2020. The world all but shut down. What better time than to connect with people on social media. Alec and Jordyn began talking away. Just before Thanksgiving of 2020 they went on their first date. Don't ask exactly what day because neither of them know. A month later in December, they decided to make the relationship official. It was sometime just before Christmas but again don't ask what day because neither of them know. Soooo sentimental aren't they?!

Fast forward through the next 3 years. They both spend time getting to know one another's family better. I mean, as we all know the old saying,“ they married into the family”. Of course they spent time at family holidays, birthdays and vacations. Our two lovebirds found that their families are equally and wonderfully crazy. Who better to spend the rest of their lives with? (Awwwww❤️❤️❤️)

Then came the magical day Alec proposed to Jordyn. It was March 23rd 2023. The only reason they remember the date is because they posted the picture on Facebook. The two had taken a small vacation on spring break up to Keystone Colorado. Jordyn had managed to talk Alec into snowboarding. On their last day up at the top of the mountain, Alec got down on one knee in the icy snow and presented his beloved mother's wedding ring. Jordyn was so stunned and awkward that passersby almost thought that she would say no. But of course she said “yes!” Otherwise no one would be viewing their story today.

Now we're all caught up. All that is left is for them to get married. What a wonderfully exciting and exhausting thing. Good luck you two love birds and congratulations!
