This love story begins on New Years Eve, 2014. There happened to be a New Years Eve party that Alecia's parents & neighbors were attending. The particular neighbor that was hosting the party had an ulterior motive. She had been trying to think of a good way to introduce Alecia & Louis and this was the perfect occasion. They both knew that there was someone they were going to be introduced to and both were quite leery as you can imagine. Alecia arrived and moseyed around the room looking for "him". She finally sat down on the couch where a group of people were playing an intense card game & joined in. She found herself next to a guy who kept pestering her about being able to see the cards in her hand. She snapped back at him and called him "big eyes". He said, "And just who are you calling "big eyes"? and they laughed and continued to compete with each other into the next game and the next game.....Louis had promised to also attend another friend's party that evening and after realizing that it was getting late he reluctantly told Alecia he had to leave but he didn't leave without obtaining her phone number!

A couple days later Louis called Alecia and asked her out to dinner and a movie....three years later on February 17, 2018 at a bonfire at Alecia's parent's home, Louis proposed to her. The rest is yet to unfold.....
