Our Wedding

We met, in the unconventional way, at work.We became close friends, talking everyday, laughing at each others jokes, and confiding over what we were dealing with at work.It was June of 2021 and the movie theaters were starting to open again. I mentioned to Dylan that I really wanted to see a movie in the theater since it had been so long. He mentioned how he wanted to go see one as well. We went the next day. We went to the movies every week. Every time he walked to my car to keep talking to me. Then one day, he asked to go get a beer and some food before the movie and that is when I learned he liked me.

How We Met

It&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;Friday&nbsp;in&nbsp;June&nbsp;of&nbsp;2023.&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;Neonatal&nbsp;Intensive&nbsp;Care&nbsp;Unit&nbsp;visiting&nbsp;our&nbsp;son&nbsp;after&nbsp;work&nbsp;as&nbsp;I&nbsp;did&nbsp;every&nbsp;day.&nbsp;Dylan&nbsp;was&nbsp;at&nbsp;work,&nbsp;or&nbsp;so&nbsp;I&nbsp;thought.&nbsp;I&nbsp;left&nbsp;the&nbsp;hospital&nbsp;at&nbsp;6:30&nbsp;and&nbsp;headed&nbsp;home.&nbsp;I&nbsp;walked&nbsp;inside&nbsp;telling&nbsp;Dylan&nbsp;all&nbsp;about&nbsp;Harrison's&nbsp;day&nbsp;while&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;putting&nbsp;my&nbsp;stuff&nbsp;down.&nbsp;I&nbsp;turned&nbsp;around&nbsp;and&nbsp;Dylan&nbsp;was&nbsp;down&nbsp;on&nbsp;one&nbsp;knee&nbsp;in&nbsp;our&nbsp;dining&nbsp;room.&nbsp;I&nbsp;cannot&nbsp;remember&nbsp;anything&nbsp;he&nbsp;said&nbsp;to&nbsp;me&nbsp;as&nbsp;I&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;complete&nbsp;shock.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;beautiful&nbsp;opal&nbsp;ring.
