Our story begins in 2014. We were in the 7th and 8th grades, spending our weekend at our friends’ house, as we did most weekends. Both of these houses just so happen to sit on the Elbert County Golf Course. That weekend, and many more after that, were spent playing “cops and robbers” all night long across the greens. A game between friends quickly became an excuse to see one another.




Fast forward a couple of months and we made it official. Who says you need a drivers license to date? ;) Our parents became our chauffeurs to one another as much as we could talk them into driving us. From that night on the golf course to now, we have grown so much. As we grew up, our lives began to go in different directions. However, a few years later our paths crossed again and we have been inseparable ever since. Though life has had its ups and downs, the highs have outweighed the lows and God’s love has never failed us! How sweet it is for your first love to be your forever love.




We have had many great years together; however, 2024 tops them all. At the beginning of the year, we decided to take on a “fixer-upper” for our first home. This process was the most taxing, yet rewarding thing either of us had ever done. We both learned so much, and somehow fell even more in love during the process. So many memories have already been created in this home, and we are looking forward to creating many, many more!




The best day of 2024 was no doubt September 7th. It took many people to pull this surprise engagement off, but it was all worth it. It was a day neither of us will ever forget. From the engagement itself to the incredible celebration with family and friends afterwards, it was nothing short of perfect.




This season of life is so special and we are enjoying every second. We have so much to be excited about; however, becoming one on August 16th is at the top of our list!
