Our story began in the summer of 2017 when fate brought us together one night on a turn up in the streets of Fort Worth. Ale and Edy briefly met, and the magic began there. Ale shared with her cousin, Yesica Gonzalez, that she felt the "love at first sight" and Yesica, in shock, replied, "EDY?!". On the way home, Edy messaged Yesica and asked, "can I get huuuhhh numbaaa?" Because of this, Alex Ruiz, Yesica’s boyfriend at the time, then invited Edy to Yesica's birthday dinner at the Cheesecake Factor. Edy and Ale were seated together and bonded over mutual interest of Shiner Bock beer. The rest of the night was history.

Over time, they spent time traveling, trying new foods, spent countless hours dancing, celebrating milestones with each other, and enjoying everything about each other.

In 2019, Edy had a complicated surgery that was needed for his fight against cancer. The surgery was a hard one, and a difficult moment in their relationship. In one particular moment, Edy needed to have a blood transfusion that was painful. As the nurse inserted the needle in the vein to begin the transfusion, Edy teared up because of the pain. Ale grabbed his hand, also tearing up, and promised him she would be here during each moment, good or bad. Edy's pain did not matter then, because his love for and from Ale was all that mattered. Ale was there every moment of this experience. He knew she was the one.

As we embark on this new chapter of our lives, we are filled with excitement and joy. Our wedding day is not just a celebration of our love, but also a testament to the journey we've shared and the adventures that await us. We can't wait to celebrate with all of you, our cherished family and friends, who have been an integral part of our story. We thank God for the gift of each other and this life that he has given us.
