Our Wedding

How we met 

Our story begins in 2006. We both attended the same elementary school, but it wasn’t until third grade that our friendship slowly began to take shape.  Unfortunately, living in different areas meant we were separated throughout middle school and high school.   Then, through what we can only call divine intervention—or maybe just pure luck—our paths crossed again in 2015 when we were both hired at a brand-new Buffalo Wild Wings.That’s where our friendship truly blossomed. Conversations felt effortless, warm, and safe. Hours would pass without us even noticing. Before long, we started looking for any excuse to spend time together at work   On May 14, 2016, we made our relationship official, and since then, life has been an endless supply of joy and treasured moments.

The proposal

We got engaged, November 14th, 2023.    It happened on the beautiful shores of Lanikai Beach in Hawaii, surrounded by our best friends in the world.   Our friends went to incredible lengths to make the proposal as meaningful and unforgettable as it was—somehow managing to keep it a complete surprise for Drina.   Believe it or not, one of them nearly lost an eye protecting us from a vicious bird… but that’s a story for another day.   We are forever grateful for this beautiful memory.
