Our Wedding

Alejandro and Cassie lived majority of their lives across the country from each other. Cassie moved to Miami, FL in December 2019 right before the pandemic. Alejandro was born in Cuba and then raised and still living in Miami. Cassie decided to go to a country bar on her birthday where she met a few friends Alejandro would hang out with there. After a few outings to meet with these friends, Alejandro saw Cassie and approached. Alejandro laughed at how young Cassie looks after she told him “I’m 29!” A week later Alejandro asked to pick Cassie up from the airport after returning from Mexico. Alejandro convinced Cassie to go to the country bar to line dance that night and drove her home. They had their first kiss this evening and Alejandro asked her on a proper date. 😉 After the first date they were inseparable! They spent most of their days and nights together. It wasn’t long before Alejandro was moving into Cassie’s apartment in Miami. Cassie called Alejandro one day from work and asked if she could bring home a cat because it was so small and was spotted like a cow. Alejandro said only if we name the kitten Cow. Cassie fell in love with Alejandro at this moment and they bottle fed this kitten to full lovable demon cat strength. Shortly after, Alejandro realized he would have an opportunity moving to Seattle, WA to work for Boeing to further his career. Cassie did not need convincing as she loves WA. Alejandro and Cassie began their journey to the PNW. Together they have challenged each other to grow into better people all while holding and loving each other along the way. They are truly so grateful to have found companions in each other. They’re so excited to share their wedding day and four year anniversary with all the people who have loved them in their lives.

Groom Party

Eddie is Alejandro’s younger brother, his pride and joy. Ale has watched him grow from an annoying kid to the wonderful man he has grown to be. He is grateful to have him by his side and couldn’t have asked for a better brother.

Pedro is Alejandro’s longest friend and he considers him family. From the young kids they were 13 years ago to the men they have grown to be today, Pedro has stood by his side and has shown unconditional support.

Alejandro’s and Antonio’s friendship has been short but has become a powerful bond. Antonio has been part of Ale’s support system during his move across the country. He has been his rock here in Seattle and he is grateful for his friendship.

Old man Kyle (he isn’t that old) has been a part of Ale’s support system in Seattle. He has served as mentor and wonderful friend. His support at their workplace and in his personal life has helped Ale through many challenges.

Isaiah and Alejandro’s friendship, although short, has been one full of laughter and good times. This man would be the first one to fall asleep at a get together but while he’s awake he is definitely the life of the party. Alejandro is grateful for his friendship and support.

Michele is Cassie oldest sister. She has served as a role model, mentor, and friend throughout Cassie’s life. Michele has helped mold Cassie into the woman she is today.

Katie is Cassie’s older sister. She has provided support and compassion through some of Cassie’s hardest challenges. She has also been a joyous friend in life.

Roxie is Cassie’s longest friendship. Going on 17 years strong! Roxie has walked through challenges alongside Cassie that has strengthened their friendship. Cassie was a bridesmaid at Roxie’s wedding. Roxie is a treasured friend for life! A real ride or die… if you will.

Allison and Cassie met in college at WSU over 10 years ago. GO COUGS! Allison has persevered through life obstacles with Cassie. She has been a supportive friend through hard times and also a partner in crime in some really good times!

Cassie and Cara met in Miami, Florida. They met through a first job during their internships as therapists. Two people who had recently moved to Florida looking for friendship that turned into one of the closest friendships both of us have had.

Cesar has been one of the closest friend’s Alejandro has made alongside the rest of the groomsmen. He has been dependable and provided a lot of support in Ale’s transition to Seattle. Alejandro is grateful to have him by his side and proud for him to be the officiant at his wedding.
