This is a formal event. In August, the weather is expected to reach a high of 85 degrees and a low of 68 degrees. While our ceremony & reception will be indoors, please note our cocktail hour will be outside in a covered gazebo (with access to use indoor facilities) so wear something that you feel comfortable and confident in. We kindly request that our ceremony remain unplugged, which means we ask our guests to refrain from taking photos or videos during this special moment. While we truly appreciate the desire to capture memories, we've hired a professional photographer to beautifully document every detail. Your presence and undivided attention mean the world to us. Please shoot to arrive between 2:30-2:45pm in case you get lost, need a last minute touch up, need to use the bathroom, or you like tend to underestimate time. It's important to us to start on time to ensure we can all enjoy (and our photographer can capture) the moment.

Yes, of course, we're Hispanic it's a part of our culture! While neither of us are heavy drinkers, we do want our loved ones to enjoy the night. So, for one night only, indulge in all-you-can-drink on us, starting during cocktail hour.

For those that will be driving, we do encourage all our guests to drive safely and responsibly. Should you need it, our DJ will be happy to provide vouchers allowing you to leave your car overnight at the Norfolk Botanical Gardens and retrieve it the next morning. Since we will be partying until 1am, we also recommend guests that know they will stay for the entirety of the event to schedule their Lyft/Uber a few days before to guarantee a ride back home.

At our wedding, we're excited to celebrate with our nearest and dearest! As we finalize our guest list, the save the dates and formal invitations will include the names of those who are invited. This approach is essential to ensure that we can accommodate all our guests comfortably within the venue's capacity and properly plan for catering and beverages.

While we adore having children in our lives, our wedding is tailored to adults. Please note, for families attending with kids, our wedding will feature loud sounds, an open bar, and explicit music, which may not be suitable for younger guests. We simply want parents to be fully informed for everyone's comfort.

Call us biased, but Virginia Beach is better. We recommend you enjoy the beach and walking along the boardwalk at any hotel from 1st-40th street. The wedding party will be located from 24th-40th. For those wanting to stay closer to the airport, we recommend you stay near Waterside Norfolk.

Our ceremony and reception locations are a 15-minute apart. Uber/Lyft are reliable in the area for those wanting to get around through ride sharing.
