Our Wedding

We met each other in Occupation &amp; Participation class at FGCU in January 2017. Our first date was to Fort Myers Beach eating pub sub sandwiches and walking along the beach. It felt very natural and I had butterflies the whole day. While going for a walk, I told him my journey and he knew at that time he wanted to date me. Things moved quickly and 2 weeks later he asked me to be his girlfriend, on his birthday, and hours later he was asking me when we could make this "Facebook Official" and we have stayed that way ever since! Except, now we have an "Engaged" status. For a year and a half we were in Fort Myers, FL together until I graduated from FGCU in August 2018. We then started long distance as I landed a job as a Healthcare Recruiter at All Star Healthcare Solutions in Deerfield Beach, FL and he was the General Manager at Eagle Moving in Fort Myers, FL. It was not easy, but we made it work and never gave up!My company has gone remote since COVID, which allowed me to relocate back to Fort Myers in May 2021 and move in with Jason (thanks to Honey for having a rental property available). It also happens to be in the same neighborhood as Jason's mom - even more convenient. He is definitely my favorite roommate (besides our puppy, Layla)! That same year, Jason landed a Firefighting job at Lehigh Acres Fire Department. When starting a Firefighting job in Florida, there is typically a 1-year probation period where you can't request days off. After his probational period was over, we planned a trip to visit Colorado, a state that has been on my bucket list for over 10 years. It was everything I envisioned and more and we were on a mountain high. If you know Jason and I, we love being in nature - so a week of hiking and exploring - count us in! On May 5th, 2022, we went to Rocky Mountain National Park where we did not imagine we would be hiking in snow (the crampons made this possible.) We got to the top of Alberta Falls, where he proposed and asked me to marry him. I said Absolutely Yes!!!On to the next chapter of our lives...Marriage!Cheers.

I took him to Ford's Garage for his 22nd birthday

Jason hired a Chef to come make us dinner in my Estero Oaks apartment - that was a great date night&nbsp;:)

We are both Catholic and we would go get our ashes on Ash Wednesday at CSO mass at FGCU

The first wedding we attended together- Katie &amp; Caleb. Caleb was one of Jason's college roommates.

In 2019, I took Jason to the Florida Keys - his first time

Our first Tortuga Country Music Festival together

The day we became a family of three - October 8th, 2022. We adopted Layla from LRROF :)
