Our story begins in the Fall of 2019, Louisville, Kentucky... Senior year of highschool Noah and I crossed paths during church groups at the Spruell house. A silly TikTok dance led us to our first conversation and something "clicked". Soon after we met, Covid hit but we still managed to hangout regularly and got to know each other better. Through the pandemic, we realized we shared the same interests... the biggest (and most important) thing that we shared was by far our faith in Christ.
Our journey wasn’t an easy one as we began a long-distance relationship during my first year of college in North Carolina… I was a college student-athlete while Noah was pursuing to become a firefighter back home in Louisville. There were challenging moments for sure, but we believe the long distance somehow brought us closer through many texts, FaceTime calls, devos, and surprise visits.
From August 15th, 2020 to now, we’ve built something that many of our friends aspire to have, and for that we’re so grateful. ☺️
July 25th, 2024 came as a complete surprise to me (Alera) when Noah proposed! I had absolutely no idea. It was an unforgettable moment—fake planned as “family photos” with his best friend as the photographer, this day was actually set up to be one of the best days of my life that I will never forget.
We are beyond excited to start this new chapter together!
We couldn’t be more grateful to have found each other four years ago in a random church group home, and we can't wait to celebrate this incredible day with all of our favorite people!
