Our wedding ceremony will be a formal affair, and we would be honored to have you join us in your most elegant attire. We believe that dressing up adds to the special atmosphere of the day, and we can't wait to share this joyous occasion with you in style. For gentlemen, a suit would be perfect, and for ladies, we suggest a cocktail dress or a formal gown. We want everyone to feel free to express their personal style, so feel free to add your own unique touches to your ensemble. However, for those of you joining us on Friday, this day is meant to be a casual affair. Where whatever you feel comfortable in! As a heads up, our photography and videography team will be present Friday evening but the evening is meant to be a laid back experience.

As we finalize our arrangements, we wanted to kindly remind all our guests to review the details on their invitation regarding the number of guests permitted. If the invitation specifies that additional guests are welcome, we would be delighted to have them join us. However, if the invitation only extends to you, we kindly ask that you limit your attendance to the stated number.

It was our desire to have our wedding feel exclusive, small and intimate. Because of this, we have decided to host an adults-only celebration. While we adore children, we have made this decision to create an atmosphere that allows everyone to relax and enjoy the festivitiies.

Bedrooms are located on the 1st and 2nd floors of Cowdray House and each is individually furnished. All bedrooms are lockable but the venue cannot be held responsible for loss or damage to guest property. Each bedroom has an information folder which will answer most of your questions and which will provide details such as the wifi code, the pin code to access the indoor pool (bring a bathing suit!), what to do if the fire alarm goes off etc. All bedrooms have private bathrooms although not every bathroom is ensuite. Every bedroom is equipped with: - a tea and coffee station - hairdryer - iron and ironing board - towels and robes - shower gel, shampoo and conditioner

On arrival at Cowdray House, staff will show you to your bedrooms and can assist with bags if required. If you are bringing a lot of luggage it would be helpful to the venue to know in advance. No passports or ID is required to check in. Depending on your arrival time, if you would rather join other guests for lunch right away, you can check in to your room after lunch. Please do be advised that Cowdray House is a privately owned country house rather than a hotel so they are unable to offer porterage, concierge or room service but their team will do everything they can to ensure our guests have the most wonderful stay.

English weather is notoriously unpredictable - especially in summer! - and it can vary from town to town as well, especially when it comes to localised rain. We are hoping for a lovely warm weekend, and to be outside as much as possible, so we recommend that you bring a jacket or wrap as a light layer in case the weather is variable. Temperatures should be in to be in the region of 15 to 25°C (59° - 77°F), but we recommend that you keep an eye on the British weather forecast for West Sussex / Midhurst nearer the time.

By hired car / taxi: Transfer time from London Heathrow to Cowdray is approx 1 hr and from central London to Cowdray (by car) is approx 1hr 45 minutes. For ground transfers from London we recommend Welcome Pick Ups Pre booking is essential By train: The nearest train station is Haslemere Trains depart from Waterloo Station in central London to Haslemere every hour and take about 50 minutes You will then need to pre-arrange a taxi to meet you at Haslemere Station - it is then a 20 minute drive to Cowdray.
