Alessia & Alec met in Longport, NJ, over Labor Day weekend in 2020. They were introduced through mutual friends, but their initial interaction was brief and unremarkable.

Over the next two and a half years, their encounters were limited to occasional social gatherings, where they had little interaction.

It wasn't until May 2023 that Alessia and Alec discovered their connection - at the engagement party of the very same mutual friends who introduced them years earlier. Shortly after, they began dating during Memorial Day weekend in 2023.

At the time, Alessia was living in Schenectady, NY working night shifts in the ICU, while Alec lived in Philadelphia. The long distance and conflicting schedules posed significant challenges, but they stayed close with frequent road trips to visit each other and planned getaways.

After Christmas in 2023, Alessia moved to Philadelphia to live with Alec. They soon found their own apartment, allowing their relationship to deepen in ways that weren't possible while living apart.

In September 2024, after an unforgettable trip to Alberta Canada, the couple traveled to Denver, Colorado for Alec's work. During that weekend, Alec proposed to Alessia.

By January 2025, Alessia and Alec left the city life behind and moved to Hammonton, NJ, Alec's hometown, to start their next chapter together in their new home.
