Alessia and Dan both grew up in Yonkers, NY minutes away from each other. They both attended the same elementary school. The two occasionally ran into each other throughout the years but continued on separate paths through middle school, high school, and college. 




Alessia and Dan reconnected after college and went on their first date in September 2020. At the time, Alessia was back home preparing for her final clinical while Dan lived in Groton, CT for work. The two alternated weekends, driving 2 hours to see each other. They officially started dating in December 2020.















In March 2022, Dan switched jobs and returned back home to Yonkers. Since Dan returned, he has gained a new best friend in Oliver and has adapted to Nonna Carmela’s “inglese.”








On November 18th, 2023 Dan managed to pull off the greatest surprise and proposed to Alessia at Brotherhood Winery through a staged wine tour. 



Alessia and Dan cannot wait to celebrate their wedding with all their family and friends in July!
