One of our favourite neighbourhoods in Toronto is Ossignton, which is filled with yummy restaurants, cafes, bars, and shopping. One of our favourite activities is to go restaurant-hopping so that you can try as many spots as possible. Some spots we love are: Côte de Bœuf, Oddseul, Mamakas, and La Banane.
Exploring Kensington Market is worth it if you want to experience a vibrant, multicultural neighbourhood with a diverse food scene, unique vintage shops, street art, and a lively atmosphere, especially if you enjoy exploring eclectic and slightly gritty areas with a strong local character.
You can choose to go up the CN Tower or admire it from down below, either way, it is worth checking out. The CN Tower used to be the tallest freestanding structure in the world until it was surpassed by Dubai's Burj Khalifa in 2009.
There are lots of fun activities around the CN Tower, including: visiting Toronto's Ripleys aquarium, grabbing a beer at Steam Whistle (Toronto's largest independent craft brewery), playing arcade games at The Rec Room, and attending a game or a concert at The Rogers Centre - the home of Toronto Blue Jays baseball team!
Toronto has many great museums and galleries. The Royal Ontario Museum (ROM) is one of the largest museums in North America and the largest in Canada, and the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) is a world-class art museum featuring an extensive collection of Canadian, Indigenous, and dynamic exhibitions that make it a must-visit for art lovers.
