Tateum's younger sister! Robyn and Tateum grew up riding horses and motorbikes, learning to run farm equipment, bottle feeding calves and kittens, and loving on all the farm animals. A few times throughout their hockey careers they played together, but the most notable year was when they both played midget for the Fort Sask Fury. Robyn and Madison were on one of the 'A' teams, and Tateum was on the other. Sadly, she never got a goal past Robyn!

Robyn McPherson

Alex and Brodie met in St. Paul while playing hockey. The two quickly hit it off and became very close friends. Gryk's Farm is where Alex's first 'cowboy' experience was. If it wasn't for Alex tackling a calf at their branding, I don't think everyone would be where they're going to be on August 9th ;) Thanks Brodie!!

Randi is Tateum's cousin, they are 7 months apart. Naturally, they were best friends from the get-go and have spent many hours building forts in the trees at Nana's, attending riding lessons, attempting to golf, riding shotgun in Aunty Sandy & Uncle Rick's pontoon and much more.

Randi McGregor

Alex's older brother! Nick and Alex grew up in Athabasca and in the mid-2000's the family moved to Salmon Arm, B.C. They both were high level athletes but due to their age gap, did not ever get to play on the same team. However, now they enjoy golfing together in the summers and cracking a cold PBR!

Nick Astasiewicz

Taylor and Tateum have known each other since Robyn and Lee (Taylor's younger brother) played initiation hockey in Josephburg together. In high school at Ardrossan they became close friends, along with Madison. The group of them enjoy random shopping days, coffee dates, and patio season!

Taylor Hjelsvold

When Alex's family lived in Athabasca, Zach and Alex were best friends. When Alex moved away to Salmon Arm they kept in touch. While both playing for the St. Paul Canadiens, they tore it up together and have been close ever since. You can find the two golfing in Athabasca occasionally and Zach makes sure wherever the ball lands, that's where you play it from. Rules are rules with this guy!!

Zach Bendall

Dani is Tateum's younger cousin. Dani, Randi, Robyn & Tateum (plus sometimes Garrett) spent much time together growing up. Dani was also there during the tree fort days at Nana's. She is the go-to for all fashion advice and has been a great friend over the years!

Dani McGregor

Sean and Alex were friends in Athabasca. Much like Zack, they met up again when they played hockey in St. Paul. After their hockey career ended they lived together in the city. Sean was along for the ride the night Alex met up with Tateum, Taylor and Madison. We may have ended up at Black Dog thanks to Sean, but we had fun ;)

Sean Greene

Madison and Tateum have been friends for well over 20 years. Her older brother Mason was a classmate of Tateum's. The two played hockey together in Josephburg before moving to play for the Fort Fury all girls team in Fort Saskatchewan. McPherson's and Younger's have been longtime family friends!

Madison Younger

Similar to many of the other groomsman, Alex and Derek were friends in Athabasca. When Sean and Alex were living together in the city Derek would come down from his job up north to party with them on the weekends. They started hanging out all the time and then Alex, Sean, Derek & Ethan lived together in a house they coined 'The Clinic'.

Derek Greene

CMN is where Hanna and Tateum met. Over their 2.5 year friendship the two have traveled to Vegas, Minneapolis and Victoria together, attended concerts, tore up the bar scene and much more!

Hanna Snelgrove

Through Sean and Derek, Alex became friends with Ethan. He was also a resident of 'The Clinic'. Ethan and the boys can often be found on the golf course together in the summer!

Ethan Sakowich

Emilee and Tateum met at Lakeland College. Em was in Crop Science and Tateum took Animal Science/ Agri-Business. They were roommates for two years and continued to stay in touch following college. Tato and Em have been on some wild adventures together including softball tournaments, the Ponoka Stampede and parties at the Goat Ranch!

Garrett is Tateum's younger brother. Garrett played hockey, football and motocross raced. One of Tateum's favourite memories with Garrett was going to Las Vegas with Reed, Ardelle, Garrett and Hanna for Garrett's 21st Birthday!

There is a room block at the Wingate by Windham Fort Saskatchewan (formerly the Holiday Inn Express). A double standard room is $139/ night. When booking mention McPherson/ Astasiewicz Wedding. This hotel is approximately a 10-15 minute drive (or taxi ride) from Josephburg.

Wingate by Wyndham 

There will be taxis in and around the Josephburg area for any guests requiring a safe ride back home. Please give them a call, and don't drink and drive!
