Our love story began in middle school during a game of rugby basketball. Where in an attempt to score, Cole was tripped up by a carefully placed foot resulting in major court burn on his knees. To his surprise his basketball “bully,” was a sweet but competitive girl named Alex. Fast forward to high school, where a fateful seating mix-up connected us again. We were just kids when we fell in love… the first time.

Cole moved away for junior and senior years, and we lost touch. However, thanks to a pandemic and a well-timed coffee date, we rekindled our connection. After our first semester in college, we realized we wanted to be together, and we picked up right where we left off.

In the five years since we’ve enjoyed watching each other grow and embrace God’s plan for our lives. We’ve supported each other through challenges, celebrated achievements, and we’ve become each other's biggest fans whether it’s training for a run, learning to fly fish, navigating hiking trails, or trying a new recipe. We’re incredibly thankful we met so early—who wouldn’t want to start their love story in middle school? Here’s to a lifetime of love, unwavering support, and unforgettable memories!
