Pakistani Wedding

Friday, March 20, 2026
Join us in Multan, Pakistan for a two-day wedding celebration filled with colour, music, and tradition. Guests will arrive in Lahore on Friday, March 20, 2026, where group transport will take everyone to Multan and check-in at the Rumanza by Pearl Continental Hotel. The weekend begins with a Family Welcome Gathering on Saturday evening, followed by the vibrant Mehndi Ceremony on Sunday, March 22 an evening of music, dance, and colourful traditional outfits. The formal Wedding Reception will take place on Monday, March 23 at the hotel, with dinner, music, and celebration. On Tuesday, March 24, there’s an optional sightseeing day to explore the historic “City of Sufis” before departures on Wednesday. Accommodation, group transport, and meals during events are provided guests only need to arrange their flights, visas, and insurance. We would love for you to join us for this celebration. 💛

Eid/ Family Welcome Gathering

Attire: Semi-formal (Men: shirts/trousers. Women: semi-formal dresses or traditional outfits)
This will be hosted in Mo's family home. An Eid and family event with food, music, and family time. This is also a special celebration to welcome the children, Zara (Mo's brother's newborn) and Liya (Mo's sister's girl), into the family. All guests are warmly invited to think of it as a joyful start to the wedding festivities.

Mehndi Ceremony

March 22, 2026
Attire: Men: Traditional shalwar kameez in matching colours (provided by bride’s family where possible). Alternatively, a matching-coloured shirt can be worn instead. Final colour details will be shared closer to the event. Women: Colourful traditional outfits.
This will be hosted in Mo's family home. The Mehndi is a vibrant evening of colour, music, and dancing. Expect lively dancing, traditional customs, and lots of fun. This is one of the most joyful and expressive parts of a Pakistani wedding, a chance to immerse yourself in the culture and celebrate together.

Wedding Reception

Rumanza by Pearl Continental
Multan, Punjab, Pakistan
Attire: Men: Classic suits or shalwar kameez. Women: Traditional formal dresses or formal dresses/ gowns
The formal wedding reception and main celebration. Hosted at the Rumanza Pearl Continental, this event includes dinner, music and plenty of time to celebrate together. It’s the most formal part of the wedding celebrations.

Sightseeing & Cultural Exploration

Tuesday, March 24, 2026
Attire: Comfortable casual clothes. For women, modest clothing that covers arms and legs is recommended.
An optional day to discover the cultural and historical beauty of Multan, known as the “City of Saints.” Possible visits include shrines, bazaars, and historic landmarks. A relaxed way to end the celebrations and enjoy a taste of Pakistan’s heritage before travelling home.
