We might have met in 2022, but our story really starts before that...

+ Our Grandpas went to high school together in the 60s.

+ Chase grew up in Le Mars and Alex has family in Le Mars about 2 miles from his house.

+ Alex's roommate in college was from Le Mars and took her to the ice cream parlor in 2014, when Chase was still working there.

+ Our Greek houses were paired together in 2015 and we attended the same social. Alex left before the picture though.

+ For 6 years, we lived less than two miles away from each other in both Ames and Ankeny.

Finally, thanks to Hinge, we actually met September 2022! And our story has been so amazing since then!

+ We have been on several vacations, the Grand Canyon and Fort Myers were some of our favorite spots.

+ We've competed in many races together- including triathlons, half marathons, and other running races.

+ We joined the World Record Day on RAGBRAI in 2023 and biked nearly 60 miles in 109 degree weather.

+ We have enjoyed a couple seasons of tailgating, many Iowa State football weekends, and a Bowl Game.

+ We got to see Taylor Swift perform in Kansas City.

+ And of course, the most exciting part of 2023... Chase proposed to Alex in October on the most beautiful day in Jester Park!
