What dates will you be there?
Jason and I will be in Positano, Italy from September 29 until October 6 with various activities throughout the week. We completely understand if guests want to come for some, but not all, of the week. None of the activities are expected or required. Guests are welcome to curate their own adventure in Positano or elsewhere.
Is my passport valid?
Please make sure your passport expires AFTER January 2025!! In order to travel to the EU, your passport cannot expire within 2-3 months of your return.
How early should I RSVP?
The earlier the better! We know it's a big commitment to take the time and travel with us to celebrate in Italy, so we understand if you decide to support us in spirit instead. However, as we are working to set up fun activities for our guests during the week, having a guest count early on will facilitate that.
How early should I book accommodations?
As soon as possible! Space is limited along the Amalfi Coast. We will be visiting at the end of the tourist season, so book early, especially if you're wanting to stay close to the venue. Contact Ilaria at ilaria@italianeventplanners.com for help finding accommodations.
How do I get there?
Visit the Travel tab for information on nearby airports and transport to Positano. Contact Ilaria at ilaria@italianeventplanners.com for further questions regarding transport.
Is there a registry?
No! Celebrating with us is your gift to us. If you can't make it, we know you'll be there in spirit.
What if I have dietary restrictions?
Please specify any dietary restrictions or allergies on the RSVP page or contact Alex. We are happy to accommodate.
What will the weather be like?
The entire wedding event will take place outside, with the Amalfi coastline as the backdrop. The temperature in October ranges from a low of 63°F (17°C) and a high of 71°F (22°C). Expect a cool breeze. There is a 24% chance of rain this time of year. The event space can be covered, in that rare scenario. Humidity levels are about 70%.
Are kids invited?
We want our wedding to be a fun night for our closest family and friends, but you are welcome to bring kids along for the trip! We can arrange sitters for the night and/or other activities if needed.
Is there a dress code?
Formal attire is encouraged, but not required. We want our guests to dress and feel their bests. The overall theme is glam, moody, romantic. The glitzier, the better!
Will there be a wedding party?
We will not be having wedding party. Everyone attending is very close to us. You should all consider yourselves the "wedding party".
What time will the reception end?
Noise ordinances in Positano dictate that music must stop at 11:30 PM. While we won't be hosting an afterparty, there is a discotecca, Music on the Rocks, walking distance away from the wedding venue for those whom want to keep the party going. See the Things To Do tab for the address and more information.
What other activities will there be?
We are working to set up activities throughout the week. There will be specifics on the Things To Do tab. Please check back for more details as events become finalized. Nothing is required, only offered, but may require RSVP correspondence to finalize details. We encourage our guests to curate their vacation to suit their wants/needs. We want everyone to enjoy themselves. It's vacation in Italy!
What is the Welcome Dinner?
We will be hosting our guests for a welcome dinner on 9/30 as a way to get everyone together and give those who haven't met a chance to get acquainted. It will be held at L'Incanto, a beach club, near the venue in Positano. It will consist of appetizers and pizza. Each guests will be provided one beer/wine with a cash bar to follow.
What if I have more questions?
Please call/text Alex for any other questions/concerns.
