Passports

Please make sure you have a valid passport. Below is the link to apply or renew a US passport. Currently,&nbsp;routine processing&nbsp;is 8 to 11 weeks and&nbsp;expedite processing&nbsp;(for an additional $60) is 5 to 7 weeks. This applies to both new and renewal applications. It is advised to apply at least 4-6 months before planned travel as there may be delays due to COVID19. AIRPORT

Please book your flight to/from&nbsp;Los Cabos International Airport (SJD). This is the major airport of Los Cabos &amp; where you'll most likely be flying into. Southwest, American Airlines, Delta, United, and more all have flights to and from SJD.&nbsp;

TRANSPORTATION TO HOTEL

The resort offers one way and round trip transfers from SJD to Cabo Azul for a nominal fee.&nbsp; Reservations must be made two days prior to arrival, by emailing your request to caboazulresort@hgv.com Please include the following: Your first and last name, reservation number, the time your flight will arrive to SJD and the time your flight will depart from SJD. (48 hours prior your arrival) • Shuttle transportation service from the airport to the resort at a cost of 15usd per person. • Shuttle transportation service from the airport to the resort for a Private Suburban for 1 up to 7 passengers at a cost of 85usd total • Shuttle transportation service from the airport to the resort for a Private Van for 1 up to 10 passengers at a cost of 85usd total • Shuttle transportation service from the resort to the airport will be provided by taxi service, it has a cost of 30usd for 1 up to 4 passengers

TRAVEL TIPS

For those traveling to Mexico for the first time (or if it's been a while), here are some things to keep in mind.&nbsp; • Bring a pen with you on the flight. You'll fill out an immigration form on the plane &amp; bring it with you through customs.&nbsp; • You need a valid passport to enter Mexico.&nbsp; • The line to get through customs could be long. Make sure to use the restroom before getting in line! • DO NOT LOSE THE VISA CARD you receive after getting your passport stamped. You will need this to get back into the US. • After picking up your luggage, there will be hundreds of people trying to sell you time shares and other packages. Just keep walking. All transportation options are outside.&nbsp; • Contact your bank, wireless carrier, and car insurance company (if you plan to drive) before leaving the states. • Don't drink the water. All hotels will serve bottled water and you can buy massive water bottles at local convenience stores for super cheap. Use these when you brush your teeth. • Credit cards are accepted most places. (sometimes American Express is not)&nbsp; • If you need to take out cash, use ATM at the hotel or bank. You get a better exchange rate.&nbsp; • We recommend breaking $50-$100 USD into small bills (5s and 1s) and carrying this around for tips if you don't have pesos on you.&nbsp; • Most cab drivers will only accept cash. You can use USD or pesos.&nbsp; • If you decide to rent a car, be prepared with cash to pay tolls.

We are so excited to be celebrating with you all at ACRE Resort in Cabo, MEXICO!    ACRE is an oasis tucked in the foothills of San Jose del Cabo. Spanning over 25 acres, ACRE features organic farming, an award winning restaurant and bar, a boutique hotel, an animal sanctuary, & above all, an unforgettable experience.   *note we are not staying at ACRE please see accommodations tab*   Additional venue information & considerations: ACRE is an entirely outdoor venue. There will be no air conditioned rooms available to guests during the ceremony & reception. Acre has a full security team that patrols the property 24/7 in addition to security at the front entrance to check in all guests entering the property. As per the ACRE website, animal-guest interactions are encouraged.   While we do not have rooms blocked off at the venue, guests are welcome to book the evening or weekend in one of Acre's luxurious treehouses. Each treehouse includes a terrace, bathroom, closet, outdoor shower, and king-size bed with mosquito net, plus high-speed internet and a curated mini-bar.
