We first messaged each other online on Dec. 13, 2018. Our first date was Dec. 22, 2018, at the Columbus Zoo to see the Christmas lights (pictured). We attended Christmas Eve service the following week and later discovered our families attended the same church—such a small world.

We continued dating, and the rest is history. We’ve had many fantastic, fun adventures and have been through so much together.

Alex proposed February 21, 2023, in Breckenridge, CO, on top of peak six while we were snowboarding. It was the most magical day and couldn’t have been any more perfect. Shoutout to Britney’s uncle Sean for filming it all.
