Alex and Chris met back in 2007 while attending East Islip High School while Alex was a sophomore and Chris a senior. They crossed paths in the halls and at parties and struck up a friendship until Chris graduated and they lost touch for a bit.

Fast-forward to 2010 when Alex was accepted to SUNY Albany where Chris was a current student and they reconnected! It didn't take long for them to realize they had feelings for each other and they became a couple in 2011. They had amazing times up in Albany and made a ton of memories with their friends (some of whom are in the wedding party!)

Ultimately after graduating Alex and Chris moved back home with Alex working in Manhattan. The distance caused them to split up for a few years, living and working separately, until they saw each other at an event in 2017. They instantly picked back up where they left off and have been inseparable ever since.

In 2018 Alex and Chris moved to Queens where they still live today with their one-eyed child (cat), Aemond!

In 2022 Chris proposed to Alex on Thanksgiving day. He worked with Alex's brother, Steven, to get her down to the Great River docks under the guise of helping a friend with a flat tire. When they arrived their parents were there and Chris popped the question! It's safe to say Alex had no idea in her Ugg boots and bright orange sweater, but it was one of the best surprises of her life!
