Fate brought us together. Had school not placed us in the same chemistry class our junior year at Huntington Beach High School, we may have never met. We started out as friends, both dating other people. We often got in trouble to talking to each other during class. Yet, at the end of the year, we were classmates not to cross paths again. With Alex being in marching band and Christina being a dancer, their busy paths did not cross.Our senior year during the beginning of the school shuffle, we found ourselves in the same pre-calculus class. You could say we got to solve our problems! Fate being fate, January 2012 is when our other relationships came to an end and we started to think of each other as more than friends. We made things official on 4/3/2012.

How We Met

While we sat next to each other through our years at school, we shared many jokes. One of them was regarding "Promposals." Junior year, Christina had convinced Alex to go above a simple question to ask his date. Well, when our senior year came around, he had to top that. He had his friends from marching band come marching out at lunch to ask Christina to prom. They serenaded here at lunch infront of half the school. While no one heard it, she said yes.

The Promposal

Young love from high school is always faced with the challenge of what happens next. Since we got together right before prom our senior year, both of us had already confirmed our college acceptance. Alex at Cal State Long Beach and Christina to San Jose State. We were challenged with whether or not to stay together and how to make the distance work.&nbsp;With many "Skype Dates" and traveling weekends, we made it through the 5 years that we spent apart at college.

As the Years Go By

They say millennials are obsessed with nostalgia; we are not different. In our true fashion, Alex asked Christina to marry him 7 years to the date of asking her to prom their senior year. "How did he propose?" You might say, hey had two marching bands assemble to help him pop the question in similar fashion to the promposal. As Alex got down on one knee, she responded "yeah....?"

Unfortunately due to COVID-19, our wedding dreams changed. We tied the knot on 4/3/21 but did not get to celebrate with any of you.&nbsp; We could not be more excited to be hosting a vow renewal/ reception to celebrate our marriage with all of you!&nbsp;

We are planning a vow renewal and reception to celebrate with our family and friends 4/3/22. We hope to see you there!

COVID-19 Updates

It is with a heavy heart that we write this. We have made some decisions regarding what to do for our special day.We have put off making decisions long enough, we decided it is time to make a few announcements (especially for those traveling from out of town).&nbsp;1.&nbsp;We are stilling planning on getting legally married with a very small collection of immediate family on 4.3.21, to reduce the risk of spreading the virus.&nbsp;2. We are still hoping to have a grand celebration (maybe 2022?)3. We love all of you and truly wish none of this was happening.The venues rules regarding postponing or rescheduling are not super flexible at this time, meaning that we are uncertain what will happen moving forward.&nbsp;We are still hoping to have the grand celebration that we were planning, later on, but it is difficult to commit to at this point.&nbsp;We will be contacting everyone as soon as we know anything. It is disappointing and heartbreaking to make this decisions.&nbsp;Thank you for your understanding.&nbsp; Alex & Christina

COVID-19

While everything has been changing, Alex and I have had to make difficult decisions on how to proceed with the wedding while the future is&nbsp;unclear. We will be updating the website as things continue to unfold.&nbsp; As for right now, we are going to continue to plan our wedding for April 3, 2021 as though things will be normal by then!&nbsp;We hope we will get to celebrate with you all.&nbsp;Alex & Christina

Steven is the best man Alex has met. This comedic duo met in college and cut it up in every class they shared.&nbsp;Steven has lawyered up to defend Alex on and off the alter. They enjoy bad advertisements, history and video games.&nbsp;While they would love to share their favorite memory, they fear it isn't appropriate.&nbsp;Steven was chosen solely because he will laugh at Alex's jokes.

Zendrex, Zen for short, will be celebrating the Bostelwedding as a Bridesman. Christina and Zen met while taking modern dance classes at San Jose State University.&nbsp;

These two can be found doing literally anything together from shopping to watching musical and pageants.&nbsp;

Christina's favorite memory with Zen is sending time with their musical theater group in New York!&nbsp;

Zen was chosen for the bridal party to help keep calm and get the bride down the aisle.&nbsp;

Jason was chosen to stand with his brother on his wedding day. While Jason and Alex grew up in different states, their brotherhood has withstood the distance.&nbsp;

Jason and Alex enjoy gaming, rooting for the Seahawks, and talking politics.&nbsp;







Alex remembers a time when the two of them&nbsp;hijinxed their mother with a surprise visit from Jason, Heidi, and Chase.&nbsp;







Jason was chosen to stand with Alex because a wedding wouldn't be the same without family!

Alex will be supporting the wedding as a Bridesmaid. Alex and Christina met in grad school and have been friends since.This duo can be found eating sushi, watching the bachelor, and sending the most ridiculous gifs.&nbsp;Christina and Alex have many memories together, but those are all confidential!&nbsp;Alex was chosen for the bridal party, not only because Christina has a thing for people named Alex, but because she will bring the party to the bridal party!

Drake and Alex grew up next door to&nbsp;each other in sunny Huntington Beach (aka Surf City USA).&nbsp;From the time they met, they were inseparable, truly&nbsp;brothers from another moth'a.&nbsp;

Drake and Alex enjoy gaming together on the Xbox, big TV's, and a good joke.&nbsp;





To spare everyone a&nbsp;history lesson, because everyone knows how much&nbsp;&nbsp;Alex&nbsp;loves a history&nbsp;lesson, any memory worth mentioning between these two involves video games.&nbsp;





Drake was chosen as a way to make childhood history relevant again.&nbsp;

Arielle (Moxie to the Bride) will be serving as a Bridesmaid for the BostelWedding. Christina (Dahlia) and Moxie met while performing in children's birthday parties (hence the stage names).&nbsp;

Moxie and Christina can be found dancing the night away, painting a face, or talking about boys under the stars.&nbsp;

Christina's favorite memory with Moxie has to be nights under the stars at the annual faerie retreat.

Moxie was chosen to help sashay her way down the aisle and get the dancing started.

Arielle (Moxie) Cole

Kyle is Bostelman's most wanted. Not only is he a friend of the bride and groom, serving as a groomsman, he also officiated Christina and Alex's COVID wedding. Kyle met Alex through Christina while she was in college.&nbsp;Alex and Kyle can be found sending political memes to each other.Kyle and Alex's best memory is Steve Kornacki pulling through for them during their sleepless nights.&nbsp;Alex won custody of Kyle for the 2022 wedding.&nbsp;

Brittany will be enjoying time with the Bride's crew as the hostess of the BostelWedding. From greeting guests to decorating, Brittany has it covered!&nbsp;Christina and Brittany met while working at Disneyland.

Christina and Brittany can be found singing Hamilton, talking Disney or using a Cricut machine.&nbsp;

As for memories... what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas.&nbsp;

Brittany was chosen to welcome each of the guests to our wedding with her bubbly personality.
