Our Wedding

We met in Idaho and quickly became inseparable, bonding over a shared love of outdoor adventures, slow mornings with coffee on the porch, and a steady stream of bad dad jokes. That first year was filled with long hikes, road trips, and cozy weekends in our camper, Gweneviere. We didn’t have it all figured out, but doing life side by side made everything feel right. Eventually, life took us in different directions—one of us headed to pilot training with the Air National Guard, the other joining Coast Guard JAG. Suddenly we were navigating long distance, new careers, and a whole lot of unknowns. The past three and a half years weren’t always easy, but we made it work with late-night phone calls, short but meaningful visits, and making the most of every minute together. In December 2024, Zach proposed in Sun Valley—just the two of us, in a quiet, beautiful moment that felt completely us. Now, after years of adventure, growth, and loving each other across the miles, we’re beyond excited to finally come back together—and to celebrate with the people who’ve supported us every step of the way.

Q: Can I bring my kids?A: We love the kiddos but we kindly ask everyone to leave the little ones at home for this celebration. Q: When's the best time to make lodging reservations? A: The sooner, the better! August in McCall is peak tourist season, so we strongly recommend reserving your lodging as soon as you're able! Q: What is the address for the celebration? A: 13988 Country Way, McCall, ID 83638 Q: Will the ceremony and reception be outdoors?A: Yes! Everything will take place outside in a beautiful backyard setting. We’ll have tents and shade, but come prepared for sunshine (and possibly some mountain weather surprises). Q: What’s the weather like in McCall in August?A: Generally sunny and warm during the day (70s–80s°F), but evenings can dip into the 40s or 50s. Bring a jacket or wrap to stay cozy after dark. Q: Is there parking available?A: More details Coming Soon! Q: Is there cell service or Wi-Fi?A: Cell service can be spotty in McCall depending on your carrier. Wi-Fi will be limited, so consider this your perfect excuse to unplug and enjoy the moment! Q: Will food and drinks be provided?A: Absolutely! We’ll have plenty of food, drinks, and desserts for everyone. Come hungry and ready to toast. Q: What’s the terrain like?A: The event will take place on a grassy lawn with some uneven ground, so plan your footwear accordingly. It’s a backyard setting—rustic but beautiful. Q: Will there be bathrooms?A: Yes! We’ll have upscale portable restrooms on-site with sinks, mirrors, and plenty of supplies. Q: What’s the best way to get to McCall?A: McCall is about a 2.5-hour drive from Boise. The most common route is via Highway 55, which is scenic but winding—plan extra travel time just in case. Boise Airport (BOI) is the closest major airport. Q: Can I camp or stay on the property?A: Yes! Anyone interested in camping please reach out to the Bride directly as there will be some space available. If you are planning to get a place in town (AirBnB, hotel, vacation rental) We recommend booking early—August is a popular time in McCall!

The premises count with 22 welcoming accomodation units. Brundage Inn offers Wi-Fi internet connection in communal areas. Unfortunately, the front desk is not open 24 hours.

Scandia Inn provides air-conditioned accommodations in McCall. The motel also has free WiFi and free private parking. The private bathroom is equipped with a shower, free toiletries and a hairdryer. At the motel rooms are equipped with bed linen and towels. At Scandia Inn guests are welcome to use a hot tub. Guests at the accommodation will be able to enjoy activities in and around McCall, like hiking.

Located 11 miles from Brundage Mountain Ski Resort, this Idaho hotel features a heated indoor pool, hot tub and sauna. It serves a daily deluxe breakfast. All rooms include free Wi-Fi. A cable satellite TV with HBO movie channels is provided in each guest room at Best Western Plus McCall Lodge and Suites. All of the air-conditioned rooms include a microwave, a refrigerator and a comfortable sitting area. Guests at McCall Lodge and Suites Best Western Plus can work out in the fitness center. A business center with fax and photocopying services is available. For convenience, a guest laundromat is on site. Ponderosa State Park and Payette Lake are within 2 miles of this hotel. McCall Golf Club is a 7-minute drive away.

Coming from out of town? We’re so excited for you to experience one of our favorite places! August is the perfect time to enjoy everything McCall has to offer. Here are some local favorites to check out before or after the big day: ☀️ Ponderosa State Park Hike, bike, or take in the lake views from this beautiful peninsula park. Great for spotting wildlife and catching a sunset over Payette Lake. 🚤 Payette Lake Rent a paddleboard, kayak, or pontoon boat—or just take a dip! The water’s chilly but refreshing on a warm day. 🛶 Scenic River Trips Try a guided float on the Payette River, or go whitewater rafting if you’re feeling adventurous (Cascade and Riggins have great outfitters nearby). 🏕️ North Beach & Legacy Park Ideal for a picnic, a swim, or relaxing on the sand with an ice cream cone from Ice Cream Alley (trust us—you don’t want to skip this). 🏔️ Brundage Mountain Resort In the summer, Brundage offers scenic chairlift rides, hiking trails, and mountain biking.
