Is there parking available at the venue? Is transportation provided?

Due to the size of the property there will not be parking available to guests. A trolley will provide transportation to and from the wedding venue and can pick you up at the DoubleTree by Hilton Hotel Asheville- Biltmore. DoubleTree allows attendees to park in their lot even if you are not staying at the hotel. Attendees may also use Uber, Lyft, or a taxi service, such as Asheville Taxi Co.

What is the trolley schedule for the wedding?

**Transportation TO the Douglass Ellington House:** Please plan to be ready for pickup no later than 3:00pm at the DoubleTree Biltmore. The first round of trolley's will depart from DoubleTree Biltmore at 3:10pm to transport guests to the Douglas Ellington House. A second round of trolleys will return at approximately 3:30pm to pick up and transport remaining guests. **Transportation FROM the Douglas Ellington House, back to The DoubleTree Biltmore:** 8:30pm: Trolleys will make an early run back to The DoubleTree Biltmore. 9:00pm: End of service, trolleys will make last run to The DoubleTree Biltmore.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

If you do not plan to utilize the trolley, please arrive at 3:30 pm to mingle and find your seats. The ceremony will start at 4:00 pm.

What is the dress code?

Cocktail.

Will there be an after-party following the wedding reception?

Yes, there will be an informal after-party at Ben's Tune Up (195 Hilliard Ave, Asheville, NC 28801) for those who want to keep the celebration going! The bride and groom will be there (given they're not too tired!) ready to continue the fun with loved ones. It’s a casual gathering with a cash bar, and while they can’t reserve a table in advance, they'll try to grab one. If not, just find them and other friends on the dance floor! We recommend taking an Uber, Lyft, or taxi from Douglass Ellington. *Heads up- cell phone service is a little spotty at Douglass Ellington, so if you plan to take a ride share, we recommend scheduling a pickup in advance for 9:00ish.

May I bring my children?

Regretfully, we cannot accommodate children at our venue due to limited capacity. We hope you will understand our need to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and celebrate!

Will the wedding ceremony and reception take place indoor or outdoors?

Both the ceremony and reception will take place outdoors. A tent will be used for the reception and available for the ceremony in the event of inclement weather. Grass surrounds the venue and will surround the tent so we recommend guests take this into consideration when selecting their choice of shoes.

Is the wedding venue ADA accessible?

Yes! The grass around the tent is flat, ramps will be installed where needed, and ADA-compliant restrooms will be on-sight. More information on accessibility will be shared with guests prior to the wedding but please feel free to contact the bride or groom with any questions.

What's the best way to RSVP?

We kindly ask that you respond through the RSVP page prior to July 6th.
