Our story began on our very first day of high school in 2014. We were in the same history class. We had an instant connection the very first time we spoke. Alex remembers thinking to himself, "I am going to date this girl." Sidney remembers staying up for hours on her living room couch texting him.

Throughout high school, we remained close friends. We had several missed opportunities but we finally found our way to each other as a couple in September of our senior year. We've remained inseparable ever since. After 4 1/2 years of visiting each other at Mizzou and Missouri S&T, hundreds of goodbyes, and endless questions from our friends and family, Alex proposed at the spot where we had our first date. It was a dream come true!

We can't wait to call each other husband and wife!
