Alex was born. She grew up in Indiana, playing with fire flies, and pretending to be Harriet the Spy.

Two years later to the day, Cori was born in California, but a few years later moved to New Hampshire where she grew up. Cori was always on the go and caused a raucous wherever she went.

Alex and Cori's paths finally crossed when they volunteered for the Peace Corps and both were sent to Zambia. They first met in the airport where Cori inadvertently called Alex "Victoria" and have shared laughs ever since.

The shared experience of living in rural Zambia, where every day is an adventure, brought them closer together.

After their Peace Corps services ended, they had the chance to travel together through South East Asia. They share a love of travel and exploring different cultures.

Cori moved to Indiana where their adventures continued, exploring the most important aspects of Indiana culture (The Indy 500).

They expanded their family when they met "Roz." River's name may have changed, but it was love at first sight!

Together, they survived the pandemic with lots of yard games.

River decided she needed a friend, so Kona joined the family!

They bought their first house, which of course came with a boat.

After 6 years together, they got engaged in Nashville, TN.

Alex and Cori are so excited to celebrate their next milestone with friends and family this September!
