This fairytale starts the same as all the great ones do... we were just friends!

Ethan and Alex met through a mutual friend in Iowa City (go hawks) as Alex traveled up for numerous Iowa football games (go hawks). Although they hit it off immediately, and shared a drunken kiss once or twice, Ethan and Alex kept their relationship title as 'friends'. The next couple of years, they built a great foundation of friendship and even decided to become roommates.

We all know that being roommates with your friends is a bad idea, right? You either end up hating each other or you end up falling in love. Luckily, the latter was true for these two and that's why you're on this website reading this story that you probably already know.

Ethan and Alex are coming up on 6 years of being together, in which they have raised two dogs, went on multiple adventures, survived 3 long years of long distance and so much more. they are eloping in Breckenridge this July and are excited to come back and share the celebration with all of their favorite people.
