Andrew and Alex met through Andrew’s sister, Michelle. Michelle and Alex played college golf together their freshman year at UCCS. The Summer between freshman and sophomore year, Alex visited Michelle in Denver, meeting Andrew for the first time.

Fast forward 5 years, Andrew had graduated from the University of Northern Colorado and decided to move to Arizona. He was working at Desert Forest Golf Course and pursuing his dream of playing professional golf. After finishing her Graduate program at the University of Denver Alex also moved to Arizona to be close to her family.

On a Sunday afternoon in early January Alex and her parents went out to Desert Forest Golf Course to play a few holes. Before teeing off, Alex and her mom hit some balls on the driving range where she recognized Andrew. Note quite sure it was him, she headed to the first tee. After the round Andrew was waiting at the staging area where Alex asked if he was related to Michelle.

On January 10th, they went on their last first date and the rest is history!!
